Stonehenge Summer Solstice - 21 June 2005

On my way to work at Glastonbury festival for a few days I stopped for the night at Stonehenge to see in the sunrise on the longest day, the solstice. There were lots of people there to see in the sunrise and the car park was full of cars and vans. After staying awake over the shortest night and celebrating the rising of the sun I had a few hours sleep before driving on to Pilton to get ready for the festival.

Below are a selection of photographs from the gathering.
