I am a professional photographer with 10 years experience. I use a Canon EOS450D with a Canon 18-55mm and Tamron 70-300mm lenses. Sometimes when taking out a large expensive camera is inappropriate I use a Fuji A100.

 

I have always loved taking pictures and have loads of photo albums dating back to when I got my first camera at 10 years old. Buying a digital camera at the beginning of 2005 was one of the best things I have ever bought. I now take a camera almost everywhere I go in case a great photo opportunity presents itself! I have actually been a photographer almost all my life!

I am a keen environmentalist and I use my photographs of animals and their environment in order to highlight the beauty of the natural world. I have a fascination with people and the way they live their lives and I hope my pictures tell their stories. I love ancient sites rich in history and I use my photographs to recreate the atmosphere at these places.

My photographs have been published in Festival Eye magazine, issues 22, 23 & 24 in 2006, 2007 & 2008.

My photographs were used on the Oxfam website in 2006 for their festival stewarding advertisements.
